Cooperativa Café Timor (CCT) sources its coffee from 20,000 small-scale farmers in Timor Leste’s (East Timor) Ainaro, Ermera, and Lequisa districts. Coffee has deep roots here, Coffee cultivation on East Timor was originally established over 400 years ago by Portuguese colonists but leaf rust destroyed all production. It only recovered in the 1900s with the introduction of the hardy Híbrido de Timor varietal.

Established in 1994 with support from the USDA and NCBA, CCT helps farmers cultivate and export their coffee; most of these working on less than one hectare of land. Beyond coffee, CCT runs free healthcare programs, operating rural clinics and mobile teams that have treated over two million patients since 2001.

Bourbon and Timor Hybrid

Washed

FLAVOURS
Roasted almonds, caramel & dried apricots, with a rich chocolate aftertaste
